Earth Day April 22



Earth Day April 22nd is coming up quickly. Earth Day began on April 22, 1970, in San Francisco, California. Every year, America and over 100 different countries join together in the celebration of Earth Day on April 22nd. Earth Day is the largest, most celebrated environmental event worldwide. Celebrating nature and finding ways to protect Earth are the goals of Earth Day. What are your Earth Day goals this year?

Here at Nifty we like to celebrate Mother Earth all year long by recycling, reusing, and reloving all kinds of consumable goods such as clothing, furniture, and home decor. So the weatherman is predicting more rain and even more cold. I say booo! However, with our super cold weather lately, comes a reason to pull out some great winter fashions. Enter the scarf-noun: a long, broad strip of wool, silk, lace, or other material worn about the neck, shoulders, or head, for ornament or protection against cold, or drafts. Scarves are perfect for keeping the chill at bay but more importantly, (ok, in my opinion!)  keeping YOU fashionable. Don't live in CHAOS! (Can't have anyone over syndrome) Do the 25 Fling Boogie every day and declutter your life. Here's how!

1. Do this as fast as you can! Take a garbage bag and walk through your home and get rid of 25 items. Do not stop until you have collected all 25 items. QUICK! HURRY!

2. Next, check to see if any of your items can MAKE YOU MONEY at Nifty Vintage & Consignment. If so, we accept consignments on Wednesday and Thursday. If not, dontate them to a good cause for someone else to enjoy!
